Managing site status and primary sites

Control which sites are active and identify the main site for each client.

Site status keeps inactive locations out of normal operations. Primary site marking helps teams identify the main location for a client.

Steps

  1. Open Sites.
  2. Use filters to find active, inactive, primary, or non-primary sites.
  3. Open the site record that needs review.
  4. Update the status when a location should or should not be used.
  5. Mark one site as primary when it is the main location for a client.
  6. Save the change and review the site list.

What good looks like

Active sites are ready for scheduling and attendance. Inactive sites remain visible for history but are not treated as current work locations.

Common mistakes

  • Deleting operational context instead of making a site inactive.
  • Marking every site as primary.
  • Forgetting to review schedule templates after changing a site status.
