Creating clients

Add the organizations or internal groups your workforce serves.

Clients organize the demand side of your workforce. A client may be an external customer or an internal operating group.

Before you start

  • Confirm whether the client is external or internal.
  • Gather the client name, status, and any notes your team needs.
  • Know whether this client will have one site or many.

Steps

  1. Open Clients from the main navigation.
  2. Select Add client.
  3. Enter the client name and type.
  4. Set the client status to active when it is ready for scheduling.
  5. Save the client.
  6. Add sites under the client before building shifts.

What good looks like

Schedulers should be able to filter clients, see which clients have sites, and avoid using inactive clients for new work.

Common mistakes

  • Creating a separate client for every location instead of using sites.
  • Making test clients active in a live workspace.
  • Putting location details in client notes instead of creating a site.
