Can attendance rules be different for different sites?

Each job site can have its own address and latitude/longitude. When geofencing is enabled for the organization, BetterDesks checks the employee's location against the configured coordinates for the site they are clocking into or out of.

BetterDesks does not offer separate attendance policy settings for each site today. Settings such as geofence enabled, geofence radius, automatic break deduction, and time rounding are managed at the organization level.

For sites where GPS is unreliable, supervisors can use OTP attendance as an operational alternative. OTP passcodes are created for a selected client and site, and optional shift, then used by an employee.

A company manages outdoor sites and indoor client buildings. The outdoor sites have coordinates configured and use geofence checks. For an indoor building where GPS is inconsistent, the supervisor creates an OTP passcode for the selected site so employees can still create attendance records for manager review.
